Have you always wanted to experience Scuba Diving? Short on time?
Don’t know if you want to commit to learning to dive straight away. Here’s your chance to give diving a try!
The PADI Discover Scuba program is a fantastic first experience of breathing underwater, getting the feeling of weightlessness and a fun introduction to diving.
The program involves a small dive theory component as well as some diving in the pool, and is designed to permit individuals to experience scuba diving under direct instructor supervision. This program does not result in a certification.
One short theory session & one confined water pool session conducted all in one day (approximately 4 hour time commitment).
The experience is run on a Saturday in conjunction with our Open Water Course.
For group bookings we can usually tailor the program to fit in with your time schedule.
- Use of all necessary SCUBA equipment.
- Pool entrance fee.

- All participants must complete a Medical Questionnaire. If any of the questions are flagged as “Yes” you must obtain medical clearance from a doctor prior to participating. Please ensure you complete this Medical Questionnaire before the start of your course, no medical, no diving.
- You must provide your own transportation, you will need to get from the shop to the pool and may be required to transport some of your dive equipment. We do not provide transport for students.
Although a diving medical will not be required, it is nevertheless strongly recommended. Further, a diving medical may uncover conditions you may not be aware of, for example ear, nose and throat, or lung function issues, which could expose you to the risk of serious injury or death while diving. Australian.
Standard AS 4005.1 and SPUMS (South Pacific Underwater Medicine Society) both highly recommend a diving medical be completed.
